ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – OPERATIONS
📍 Location: 350—200 Alpine Way, Headingley, MB📅 Deadline: June 30, 2025, One Year Full-Time Term
Giganawenimaanaanig (We All Take Care of Them) is seeking an experienced and grounded Associate Director – Operations to help lead and grow our organization. Rooted in Indigenous knowledge, ceremony, and matriarchal values, this is more than a job – it’s a calling to support justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples.
Key Responsibilities
• Strengthen operational systems and lead day-to-day administration
• Support the Executive Director and Implementation Committee
• Build a trauma-informed, relational, and culturally safe workplace
• Oversee internal processes, communications, and reporting
• Work in alignment with Indigenous governance and community priorities
Ideal Candidate
✓ 5+ years in operations or nonprofit management
✓ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
✓ Experience working in Indigenous contexts and communities
✓ Committed to collective care, decolonization, and matriarchal approaches
